Okay so I recently found out that Forums are going to be replaced by Discussions at some point (maybe later this year I don't really know) , and I'm not sure if you knew that already or not but another wiki I'm on (The FNaF Wiki) has just started moving over to Discussions and I thought I should give you admins a heads up.
Here is the info from the Community Central Wikia website:
"As of November 2016, it is not possible to enable Forum on communities where it is not already in operation. The newer conversation feature, Discussions, is gradually being released across the FANDOM network, and content from Forum will be migrated to Discussions. Ultimately Forum will be fully retired as a feature.
Communities who may wish to disable Forum on their communities ahead of its retirement can contact FANDOM Staff for assistance."
Pretty sad if I do say so myself. I really enjoy Forums.
Yeah, I know.. the admins on the FNaF wiki also said that they are having everyone over there get used to discussions and are trying to move over there before the permanent switch. They said that it is still going to be a long time till it switches over, but I do not know if they know exactly when or not *shrug*
Well they work alot like forums, except you cannot quote anything in the threads ( R.I.P thread pyramids. ) but I think that is it besides it looking alot different. Pretty much the whole FNaF wiki has black or dark backgrounds so their discussions are dark themed, ours would be blue ( I think) so it may look bright, but thats all I think.
Hi Jon, glad to see you back! Lots of stuff happened in your absence and I'll try to fill you in. Nukey has returned with a new username (LemonSodaCherryCola), I finally finished the Johnny Ghost picture for TCITW, Danielle Harris won't be in the next Halloween movie but Nick Castle will, PIE hired Spencer in Ghost's absence and got him and Spooker killed investigating a killer Tellytubby that turned out to be Chakalata Soup in a costume, we've got a lot of really interesting progress made on the wiki and we now have a new independent forum (venturiantale.freeforums.net) that we can message on if we need to talk about something project related without risking potential spoilers.
Also, Isaac has a new website, I don't know if you knew that - QuestWriter. It's a website for publishing stories and enovels, especially ones with branching storylines and different outcomes like choose-your-own-adventure ones.
I'm going to see TLJ on the 27th or 28th with my aunt. She's Star Wars mad! xD
It was an incredible film to watch! And I liked how *caution: spoiler ahead* the only time thus far we've seen Leia use the force is so much more epic than any time Luke has.
I thought Laura Dern's plan to not tell anyone her plan was a little poorly explained and especially in the case of Poe because then he went off and did his flyboy plan like she knew he was going to and it went terribly wrong and it didn't make sense to me that she'd let that happen. Also I thought that her reaction to seeing the ships getting shot was a little slow, she stares at the shuttles blowing up for like a full minute before she does anything about it (even if it was almost certainly the most epic thing ever to happen in the whole of Star Wars).
And one other thing - Newton's first law states that any object in motion shall remain in motion unless acted on by an outside force, therefore it should be theoretically impossible to run out of fuel in space.
I liked seeing her use the Force, but I thought her power was a bit too goofy (she looked like Superman flying through space). I would argue that Luke's Force projection may be the best showcase of the Force we've seen thus far, though.
Yeah, that and the whole Canto Bight subplot was a debacle to me. Finn and Rose got captured, the Resistance's whole fleet was destroyed, and the First Order tracked them all because of Holdo's defiance to tell her plan. It didn't make much sense.
My favorite scene had to be Rey and Kylo's duel against the Praetorian Guards in Snoke's throne room. I loved how they threw a curveball and just flat out killed Snoke off. The way I see it is this: I love the movie and how they handled the choices they made, although I may not necessarily agree with the choices (such as both Luke and Snoke dying in the second film).
Also, going with your final comment, the bombs at the beginning shouldn't have just fallen down onto the Dreadnought's hull, unless, as I've seen other people suggest, it had its own gravitational pull.
I finished Typing this thought out Idea and I hit post and it updated the page and my message wasn't there.
Suggestion: Add the Rule that Fan Fictions must start with "Fan: " at the beggining of the Title and An easy Abreiviation in Parantheses (For Example: Fan: World War Venturian (WWV) ). This is to clear up confusions on whether or not the page is Official Venturian or Fan Ficion. Another thing is that any page written for or about the Fan Ficion should be Required to put the same abreiviation as the origional as to adress it as part of a Fan Fiction Rather than something Official or a seperate Fan Fiction. This also Includes Official VenturianTale characters that are used in the Fan Fic. The Officaial Character that is used in the Fan Fic should be required to have its own Page Seperate from the Official one (For Example: Sally Acachalla (WWV) ).
Honestly, it's a fanfiction. I mean I have nothing against it or the authors of it. Though I still think that we should be moving the fanfics out to another website or source. Along with all of the sheer huge amount of fan characters that come with them.
