If the title cut off flor you, I was just saying that I forgot to give context for the email and that is what this is. And that as time went on we just got a little over the top with my voice acting, which is like the first I ever did, aside from things that do not count a lot.
Als the other email isn’t randomcommentsinc disgusided its called randomcommentsinc disgused.
Well you've got a pretty good voice and you're mic's very good quality. There were a few words you pronounced wrong - "Klingons", "Romulans", "Daleks" etc. I guess you've not seen the VT Doctor Who and Star Trek episodes. Or the preview videos for the series...
I was thinking back to my younger days, and I remembered that We got into a very heated discussion. You had mentioned something along the lines of that you had worked for nearly two years on the wiki before you were granted adminhood. I had responded with a slowing-down-as-you-age joke. I just want to say sorry for that. I shouldn't have insulted your grit and determination in coming back day after day after day to make this wiki a better place. I shouldn't have insulted the person I most fully associate with this wiki, not just as a leader, but as a teacher to those new and inexperienced. I should have thanked you. I should have complimented your undying enthusiasm.
What I should have done, Electric, was said you were on FIRE.
P.S.: Everything here is true, even if I only mentioned it for the purpose of making a pun.
You're very welcome, it was my pleasure! Besides, you've already done some amazing work on this wiki :) I figured you earned it.
As a Wikia bureaucrat you have access to all the features that an admin has access to, with an added bonus - you can promote people to admin and/or bureaucrat. The admin tool, which should be located on the red bar on the bottom of the tab, will show you a few of the features now accessible to you - for example, you can edit the theme and layout of the wiki template used for all the pages, you can change permissions on pages, protect or unprotect them, and you'll be able to edit the protected pages that you may not have had access to before, for example community messages or one of the main character pages, which have been locked off to prevent vandalism.
Being an admin/bureau, you can also set goals and targets for the Wiki staff to work to and check progress. Our current goal - and this is a long-term one - is to go through all the videos from a specific set and add information from each one onto the wiki, and then another set, and so on. The biggest challenge to this is the gmod roleplay series, due to its sheer scale and the lack of coherence in the continuity. I like to look at the series in terms of timescales - there's the early era in 2013, the golden age in 2014, the FNAF era 2015, the silver age late 2015-2017, the memes era 2017-present. Or something like that. XD
I'll have another look at the admin tools to see what else you can do with them. Meanwhile, if you have any questions feel free to ask me.
Here's the Admin tools. As you can see (which I can't because I'm on iOS lol) there's quite a few nifty little features there. For example, the 'Top Navigation' tool, which as you can probably guess lets you edit the bar at the top. Say you want to add another option to it? Just click wherever you like, press enter and type an asterisk followed by whatever it is you want to put in there.
The advanced tab is much more comprehensive, but I tend not to use it because it's not as clearly laid out.
Oh and something I was wanting to work on is going through the candidates for deletion and going through pages that do not have categories. I wanted to get the okay from you to delete pages that have NOT been talked about in a while, don't have any page traffic, and are marked as candidates for deletion. I wanted to make sure that that is okay to do before I do something stupid in the first week I'm a bureaucrat. XD if it is anything I feel is important I would go and add a new stamp to the discussion page.
